About The Event

Presenter: Dr. Joshua Hall Description:

In this training, we will be discussing the neurological shortcomings we must face when helping people with addiction stabilize and recover. We will also learn how to recognize the difference between acute and chronic neurological changes. We will also be discussing Co-occurring disorders and their effects on counseling and treatment.

Objectives:

  1. Understand      the reward pathway

  2. Discuss      dealing with denial

  3. Discuss      and recognize neuro-complications
