Smoke Screens: Cannabis, Adolescents and the World in Which They Live

Presenter: James E. Campbell, LPC, LAC, MAC, CACII

Description:

With marijuana being so prevalent in headlines, it can be easy to become desensitized to its impact on those we serve. Smoke Screens is a look into the developmental and systemic factors associated with cannabis and other drug use as well as a consideration of the impact of that use on individuals, families, and communities. Consideration will be given to both risk and protective factors associated with substance use as we seek to help the young people in our lives navigate the world in which they live.
