Presenter: Margaret Garrett, LPC/S, LAC, AADC
Description: This training will allow participants to gain a better understanding of service provision and documentation of rehabilitative behavioral health services within a Medicaid framework. Participants will be able to assess for medical necessity, create a treatment plan to meet the identified needs, and provide and document services tailored to meet the beneficiary's needs.
Objectives:
1. Understand how to establish medical necessity 2. Be able to create a treatment plan based on medically necessary needs 3. Understand the array of clinical services in the RBHS manual and provision of services
Margaret Garrett, LPC/S, LAC, AADC is the Quality Manager with the Department of Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Services.
