Objectives:
Describe the multidimensional impact of trauma on biological, psychological, relational, and behavioral functioning
Differentiate between the stages of trauma treatment and apply stage-appropriate interventions that support stabilization, processing, and integration
Evaluate the strengths and limitations of both bottom-up (somatic, sensory, affective) and top-down (cognitive, narrative) approaches to trauma treatment
Identify and navigate key clinical challenges that arise during trauma processing, including dissociation, emotional flooding, mindfulness fatigue, and resistance to post-traumatic growth
